This is the Bardi’s third concert at Leicester Grammar School as part of the Orchestra’s unique association with the school. Head of Music David Whittle will be Guest Conductor in a performance of the Symphony in D minor by Cesar Franck and as a contrast, the suite from Bernstein’s West Side Story. As in previous Bardi/LGS concerts, students from the school will be performing concerto movements and short solo pieces with the Orchestra.
