Here are the details for the last rehearsal on Friday and the concert day on Sunday.
Friday 29th November 7-9.45pm LGS Junior hall
7-8.15pm Pines
8.15-8.30pm Break
8.30-9.45pm Sibelius
Sunday 1st December DMH Rehearsal 10am-1pm
Car Park 3 on University Road will be open from 9am. Cost £4 all day. You can leave and come back if needed.
10-10.45am Sibelius
10.45-11.15am Bolero
11.15-11.30am Break (Piano moved into position)
11.30am-12.15pm Rhapsody (Piano then moved back to the side stage right afterwards)
12.15-1pm Pines
Jonny has said that he wants to get through Bolero as quick as we can on the day to focus on the Rhapsody with Tom Poster. The break may then be earlier.
Given the possible fluidity of the timings during the morning, especially when moving the Piano, I would suggest that everyone gets to the hall for the beginning of the rehearsal and those not in the Sibelius sit in the auditorium until Bolero, then the Rhapsody and Pines. We also need a small team of String players to move the seats for when the Piano is moved during the rehearsal and in the concert.
Kibworth Brass and the organist will be arriving at midday.
There will be a lot of us on the stage for this concert so let’s all be patient setting up.

Music
There is a lot of music out with everyone for this concert, so please do not forget to bring it all on Sunday.
As usual please put any spare string parts in the correct boxes in the corridor back stage before the concert.
I will collect up everything on stage after the concert -with a bit of help we should be able to get it done pretty quickly. Thank you.
Music Stands
I think it may be a good idea to have some spare ones available just in case. We are a big orchestra.
What to wear
We are in all black – Ladies as usual, Gents in black open neck shirts, trousers and jackets.
Tickets were just under 800 today and so we still have some time to get even more to the concert!
See you on Friday,
With best wishes,
Robert
